Dear Friends,
Fall is here, and with it comes a new season of Gems at the J! We kicked off the season yesterday with our Aqua Fit Gems Party and Resource Fair, bringing together local community organizations and businesses to build a network of resources for our Gems community. The sun was shining bright and the networking was at its peak!
We are excited to continue that momentum with an exciting lineup of classes, conversations, and experiences this fall. As we transition to a new registration system, fall programming will be offered in two parts, with Early Fall registration now open.
Get creative with Mosaic Chamsa Decorating with Rabbi Gila or explore the fascinating world of Cave Art with Dr. Steve. Stay informed with Insights for the Elections with Dr. Matt Kerbel, or join Leila Joffe for The Greatest of Lincoln Center and much, much more.
We’re also getting out and exploring! Travel with us to NYC to see Just in Time on Broadway, or stay closer to home as we discover some local classics, including the Japanese Tea House, the Charms of Fairmount Park, and Fort Mifflin. There are so many opportunities to get out, try something new, and enjoy time together.
These are just a few of the many Gems at the J programs happening this fall. And there’s even more to come later in the season including documentary screenings, diamond art, and Jewish Historic Atlantic City.
There truly is something for everyone, and we hope you’ll find something that sparks your interest. If Gems isn’t quite for you yet, tell your parents, grandparents, and neighbors to give it a try. Get out and try something new!
Explore the full Early Fall lineup and save the dates for our Late Fall programming in our booklet and find something that interests you. Also, don’t forget to keep an eye out for our new fall fitness schedule, starting September 14!
We look forward to learning, exploring, creating, and connecting with you this fall.
Shabbat Shalom,
Rachel Sakofs
