Gems at the J Clubs

Whether you’re an avid reader or a card game enthusiast, our clubs offer the perfect blend of intellectual stimulation and social interaction. Forge lasting friendships, discuss thrilling plot twists, and strategize your next move in our Mahjong, Canasta, and Book Club gatherings.
Canasta Club – Spring (April & May)
Every Monday except Holidays
3:00-5:00pm in the Kaiserman JCC back lobby
Course Fee: FREE
Come to the JCC and join friends to play Canasta. Knowledge of how to play the game is required – Canasta Club has no facilitators. Feel free to bring snacks!

Mahjong Club – Spring (April & May)
Every Thursday except Holidays
1:00-3:00pm in the Kaiserman JCC back lobby
Facilitators: Helene Rosenfeldt and Sharon Dunoff
This group is for beginners as well as for seasoned players alike. Helene and Sharon will be available to teach the rules of the game to new players. Players that are veteran players can join peers familiar with the game.

Book Club
Meets the last Wednesday of every month from 3-4pm in person or on Zoom!
Selection for 5783: Join us for a stimulus discussion about the book of the month. We try to read a variety of books and genres to expand the horizons.
