Dear Friends,
Our annual Fall Festival is this Sunday, October 11, from 11am to 3pm, and you won’t want to miss it! Admission is free, and the fun goes on rain or shine. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the festivities indoors, so grab your umbrella and come celebrate with us.
This year’s festival is extra special because it also marks the official kickoff of the 2027 Philly JCC Maccabi Games. The countdown to the Games in Philadelphia is officially underway, and we’re celebrating with our whole community. Stop by the Maccabi Kickoff to meet Team Philadelphia, learn more about the Games, enter raffles for Maccabi gear and registration discounts, and take part in sports activities and competitions with great prizes. You can learn more about the 2027 Philly JCC Maccabi Games here.
Throughout the day, you can enjoy live music from local band Ghost Experts and food and drinks including Brazilian BBQ, coffee, sweets, and more. Our Maker’s Market will feature more than 45 local vendors and small businesses. For the kids, we’ll have bounce houses, obstacle courses, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, face painting, crafts, and new rides this year. There are also plenty of free activities for all ages, including sports competitions, yard games, Touch-a-Truck, Hebrew immersion, story time, a book swap, and more.
Registration is required for everyone attending, so please register ahead of time for a faster, easier check-in. While admission is free, some kids’ activities are ticketed, and a Kids’ Unlimited Wristband gives your child unlimited access to all of them. Wristbands are still available online, and buying yours before Sunday will save you time at the door. Wristbands and individual activity tickets will also be sold on site. Register and get your wristband here.
We hope to see you and your family on Sunday!
Shabbat Shalom,
Barrie
