Dear Friends,
The Kaiserman JCC is still basking in the glow of last night’s L’Chaim event. It was a truly meaningful evening filled with joy, connection, and the strength of our community.
If you weren’t able to join us, I invite you to read my full speech here. The message is centered on Hineni, “Here I Am,” and the many ways each of us shows up for one another. There is still time to be part of our Hineni campaign before the end of the year. Learn more here.
We would also like to recognize several members of our Board of Directors who have said “Here I Am” for the Kaiserman JCC.
Debbie Adler, a former JCC teacher and longtime board member, is concluding her service this year. Debbie was instrumental in the opening of our second preschool, and her dedication has left a lasting impact on our community. Thank you, Debbie.
Reut Baror is also stepping off the board after serving as Vice President. Reut helped lead our strategic planning process three years ago, providing a clear and thoughtful compass for our future. She has also been a champion for our Israel programming. Thank you, Reut.
Finally, we are excited to welcome a new board member who is saying “Heneni.” Please join us in welcoming Scott Shapiro, who was voted onto the board last night. We are thrilled to have Scott joining our leadership.
As we head into Shabbat and toward the close of the year, thank you for being part of this community and for all the ways you continue to say “Here I Am” for one another and for the J.
Shabbat Shalom,
Alan
