Dear Friends,
This spring, the Kaiserman JCC will proudly host the 2026 Mid-Atlantic Mini & Junior Maccabi Games, welcoming more than 900 young Jewish athletes from across the East Coast for a day of spirited competition, sportsmanship, and Jewish pride.
On Sunday, May 3, our campus and surrounding communities will come alive as athletes ages 9–12 gather to compete, connect, and celebrate what it means to be part of the Jewish community. The day begins with an Opening Ceremony featuring dignitaries, the athlete’s oath, and the always-exciting parade of delegations before teams head out across the Philadelphia–Main Line area for competition.
The Mini & Junior Games introduce the next generation to the power of the Maccabi experience—building confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships while strengthening their connection to Jewish identity and community. Athletes will compete in sports including baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis, track, dance, pickleball, and squash, representing communities from throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Our Team Philadelphia delegation proudly includes athletes from across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, coming together to represent the strength and spirit of Jewish life in Greater Philadelphia.
While the athletes take center stage, it truly takes a community to make the Games possible. In the months ahead, we will be welcoming teen and adult volunteers, community supporters, and partners who want to help bring this special day to life. From event operations and medical staff to hospitality, volunteers play a vital role in creating a meaningful and memorable experience for every athlete who steps onto the field.
We are also grateful for the sponsors and donors whose support helps ensure the Games are accessible and impactful for every participant. Their partnership makes it possible to host this large-scale celebration of Jewish youth, sportsmanship, and community right here in Philadelphia.

We look forward to welcoming delegations from across the region and showcasing the energy, pride, and warmth of our community as we celebrate the next generation of Jewish athletes and leaders.
Shabbat Shalom,
Barrie
