Purim Fest '26

|

Dear Friends,

Purim is one of the most joyful days on the Jewish calendar, a holiday all about costumes, making noise, sharing treats, and celebrating together as a community. It is a chance to step away from the ordinary, have a little fun, and make meaningful memories with the people around you.

Join us on Sunday, March 1 from 11:00am–2:30pm for our annual Community Purim Fest ’26, an afternoon packed with games, prizes, crafts, entertainment, and hands-on fun for the whole family. We are excited to be joined by so many wonderful community partners who help make this celebration so special each year.

Throughout the afternoon, families can enjoy balloon twisting, stilt walking and juggling entertainment, costume parades at 12:00pm and 1:30pm, music and games with the Israeli Scouts, face painting and hair braiding, hamantaschen making, groggers and Purim crafts, bounce houses including an inflatable obstacle course, giant games, a Gaga tournament, a photo booth, and a sensory-friendly corner. There will be something for every age and interest!

Family admission tickets include food and drink for each person in your family, so you can relax and enjoy the day together. Complimentary tickets are available for Friends of the J.

We are grateful to the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia for sponsoring this joyful community celebration and helping make events like this possible for our community.

We cannot wait to celebrate Purim with you and your family. Come in costume, bring your groggers, and get ready for a fun afternoon at the J!

Shabbat Shalom,

Barrie
