Meet Taylor, Kaiserman JCC Aquatics Director!

|

Dear Friends,

My name is Taylor Deniken and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Aquatics Director at the Kaiserman JCC! I have close to a decade’s worth of experience working in aquatics in various positions and have a passion for sharing my love of the water with my community. I believe swimming is a vital life skill that provides people of all ages with confidence, physical fitness and a healthy outlet for relaxation and recreation. Along with private swim instruction, our aquatics department is excited bring back group classes! Infant, toddler, and youth classes will be the start of our expanding aquatics program. We look forward to growing our program to include a variety of classes for all ages in the near future.

You will also notice some big physical changes around the pool this summer! We purchased several sets of beautiful, new, tables, chairs, and umbrellas, that will be sitting on a brand-new pool deck! We will be removing the previous flooring and installing a new pool deck. No more rubber mat! We will also be saying goodbye to the columns that have remained post roof removal! This is phase one in a larger plan to make the pool a wonderful, year-round space. Future plans include a zero-entry toddler pool with a splash pad, and a retractable roof that will enclose both pools.

I am eager to welcome all new and returning swimmers to our pool this summer! I’m sure it will be a season full of fun, energy and enthusiasm. I’ll see you at the pool!

Shabbat Shalom,
Taylor
