Thanks for joining our Fall 2025 League! Stay tuned for our winter & spring Kehillah Co-Ed Programs for children in Pre-K through 6th Grade on Sundays Melrose Park!
Join us for a fun, co-ed, instructional soccer program designed just for kids in Pre-K through 6th grade! Whether your child is new to the game or already loves to play, they’ll develop soccer skills, build confidence, and make new friends in a supportive environment.
This program follows a clinic-style model, with children working each week with a rotating group of coaches from the Kaiserman JCC Maccabi Games Program. Participants will benefit from learning directly from older Jewish peers who are passionate about the game and excited to pass their knowledge on to the next generation. With this structure, parents will not be asked to volunteer coach as in past seasons, just come, cheer, and enjoy!
Each clinic includes:
All sessions are held on Sundays at the Mandell Campus in Melrose Park (located on Old York Road between Ashbourne Road and Melrose Avenue).
No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome, and need-based scholarships are available.
Dress Code
Due to the intensity of the game, we take pride in the safety and caring of your children. With that in mind, we have implemented a dress code for the safety of all players.
We care about every child’s safety and thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Weather Cancellation
If games are going to be canceled, parents will be notified via email.
Emails will be sent no later than 10:00 a.m. for pre-K games and 12:15 p.m. for Divisions K through 9th grade, one hour before the scheduled play time.
We do play through rain but not with lightning/thunder.
We are playing unless you get an email saying otherwise.
Special note for sudden change of weather with players already present: The coaching staff of each team is the final decision-maker as to whether it is safe to play/practice soccer on the field at the time of the sudden weather change. Coaches of both competing teams must concur that the game is either canceled or playable.
Why Small Sided Games
All ages can play “Small Sided Games”, but it has a definite developmental impact on younger soccer players
Reasons why as soccer coaches, administrators and parents we need to encourage small-sided games:
Because we want our young soccer players to…
The “Small-Sided” environment is a developmentally appropriate environment that focuses on the young soccer player and it’s FUN. It just makes sense doesn’t it?
