With 2024 just around the corner, it feels like a great time to announce that registration for tryouts for the JCC Maccabi Games have officially OPENED!
For those who may be new to this incredible experience, the JCC Maccabi Games is a worldwide Olympic-style sporting event specifically designed for Jewish teen athletes ages 12-16 (by July 31st, 2023). It’s a celebration of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and Jewish pride, bringing together young athletes from around the globe.After our tremendous successes of 2023 in Fort Lauderdale and Israel, we are eager to grow our delegation to over 125 teens this summer. We’re also excited to introduce new sports to our repertoire! Whether you’re passionate about Soccer, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Baseball, Dance, Flag Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, Golf, or Swimming, we have a place for you on our amazing teams.
If you are an eligible teen athlete, (or know of an interested one), join Team Philadelphia for Summer 2024. We will be heading to Detroit, MI, from July 28th to August 2nd, and then making our way to Houston, TX, from August 4th to 9th. Fun fact: Detroit is the city that has hosted the most JCC Maccabi Games. Detroit and Houston will set the stage for an unforgettable two weeks of competition and connection. Tryouts begin next month and you can register for them now! Don’t miss out on the incredible opportunity to be a part of Team Philadelphia and showcase your skills in the sports you love!
