Join us for another Klezmer Jam at the JCC and celebrate Hanukkah together! Whether you want to listen to music, play along, or dance, there is something for everyone. Klezmer, a fusion of Ashkenazi Jewish and Eastern European folk music, is celebrated by Marvin Weinberger. We will be led in playing traditional Klezmer tunes, delve into Sephardic Ladino traditions, and explore related Jewish musical genres. Musicians of all ages and skill levels are welcome, with sheet music provided. Not a musician? No problem, just come to listen to the music!
