Connect with Diller Teen Fellows

|

Dear Friends,

Today is Lag B’Omer, a day on the Jewish calendar that reminds us of the power of resilience, community, and the spark of Jewish identity that carries us forward. It’s a perfect moment to reflect on the ways we pass our traditions and values to the next generation, and to highlight one incredible opportunity to do just that.

The Diller Teen Fellows program is a international leadership and Jewish identity experience for teens in 10th and 11th grade (current 9th and 10th graders). Over the course of a transformative 12-month journey, Fellows explore what it means to be a leader – in their communities, in the Jewish world, and in the global arena.

Highlights of the program include:

  • Bi-monthly Sunday workshops focused on leadership, Jewish learning, pluralism, and connection to Israel
  • Three immersive weekend retreats/Shabbatons
  • Hosting Israeli teens from our partner city of Herzliya
  • A life-changing 3-week summer seminar in Israel, including the Global Diller Congress, where participants connect with over 650 Jewish teens from six continents
  • A tight-knit Philly cohort and a growing network of alumni around the world

Fellows gain tools to become thoughtful, confident, and compassionate leaders, all while forming deep friendships, engaging in meaningful social justice

projects, and strengthening their connection to Jewish life and peoplehood.

Applications for the 2025–2026 cohort are open now, but the deadline is quickly approaching on June 1. If you know of a teen who may be a great fit, encourage them to apply today! Scholarship assistance is available for families in need of financial support, and program costs include international travel. We’re happy to speak with families directly or connect you with a recent Diller alum to hear firsthand what the program has meant to them, please reach out!
