In our continuous efforts to enhance the diversity and richness of our Camp Kef offerings, we are introducing two brand-new specialty camp programs this summer that will run concurrently with our regular Camp Kef session. Specialty Camps are designed to provide an immersive and enriching experience beyond the traditional camp setting. I am thrilled to announce that we are partnering with two incredible organizations for this new venture, Music Theatre Philly, and Philadelphia Phoenix Ultimate Frisbee.
Theatre Camp with Music Theater Philly
Ages: 1st through 6th Grade
Dates: June 24 – July 12 (Weeks 1, 2, and 3)
Music Theatre Philly presents Shrek Jr the musical! Campers will enjoy three weeks of preparing for the performance of a lifetime. They will star in the play, contribute to set and costume creation, and enhance acting and improv skills. Days begin with songs and cheers at Camp Kef, followed by play rehearsals until lunch. After a break, they’ll engage in traditional camp activities.
Ultimate Frisbee Camp with Philadelphia Phoenix
Ages: 3rd through 6th Grade
Dates: July 15 -19 (Week 4)
It’s time to hit the field with Philadelphia’s only professional ultimate team. Members of the Ultimate Frisbee Association, the Philadelphia Phoenix was created in 2012 as one of the original eight founding teams of the league. Come train with the best and learn the game of ultimate frisbee. Ultimate Frisbee campers will start and end their day with the traditional Camp Kef program. Camp registration includes a ticket to a Philadelphia Phoenix game!
Our Specialty Camp offerings aim to provide a well-rounded and enriching experience for your children this summer. Whether they’re exploring the world of theater with Music Theater Philly or hitting the field with Philadelphia Phoenix for Ultimate Frisbee, we believe these programs will add a new dimension to the camp journey.
