Cyanotype Paper: Art For Connecting with Nature (weather permitting)

Cyanotype is a centuries old photography method that uses special photo paper and allows for the development of an image by sunlight. We will arrange leaves, flowers and other natural items on our paper and watch as beautiful, permanent images emerge. A bright, sunny day is needed for this project.

If there are clouds or rain this class will shift to Gelli Plate Printing: Art For Connecting with Nature. Gelli plates are a versatile art tool and are used to transfer images using ink and paint onto paper. We will use gelli plates and natural materials, such as leaves and flowers, to create lovely, delicate artwork.
