Amilia / SmartRec Registration at the J

Amilia / SmartRec Registration Information and FAQ

The Kaiserman JCC is moving to a new registration system, Amilia / SmartRec, which will replace EZFacility. We’re starting with our Gems classes that begin November 1, and more programs will move over in the coming months. Because accounts don’t transfer from EZFacility, everyone will need to create a new account. The answers below will help you get set up and registered.

What is Amilia / SmartRec?
Amilia / SmartRec is our new online registration system. It replaces EZFacility, and you’ll use it to sign up and pay for programs at the Kaiserman JCC.

What’s on Amilia / SmartRec right now?
Only our Gems classes that begin on or after November 1.

Will other programs move to Amilia / SmartRec?
Yes. More programs will move to Amilia / SmartRec soon, including enrichment classes, wellness offerings, pickleball, and other future programming. We’ll let you know as each one moves over.

Getting started

How do I get started?
The easiest way is to register for a Gems class at phillyjcc.com/gemsprograms. When you pick a class, the store will walk you through creating your account, signing the waiver and checking out.

Can I create an account first?
Yes. Go to the Amilia login page, create an account, click Find a store, and search for Kaiserman JCC. Starting from phillyjcc.com/gemsprograms is still the simplest route.

Is there an app?
Yes. Once you’ve created your account using the steps above, download the Amilia app. You can use it to view your account and purchases. See Amilia’s guide: How to use the Amilia mobile app.

Your account

Will my EZFacility account carry over?
No. Everyone needs to create a new Amilia / SmartRec account. You’re welcome to use the same username or email you had before, but nothing from EZFacility will transfer. That includes your history, saved payment methods and balances.

I had a credit in EZFacility. What happens to it?
Please reach out to Rachel at rsakofs@phillyjcc.com and we’ll help you.

Can I register other people in my household?
Yes. Set up one account, then add each person as a family member. You can register anyone in your family from that one account. See: Family Account Guide.

Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Everyone needs to sign a new waiver in Amilia / SmartRec, even if you signed one in EZFacility. After that, you’ll re-sign it once a year.

Can I save my payment information?
Yes. You can store a card in your account wallet for faster checkout. See How to save your payment information.

Registering for Gems classes

How will I register for Gems Classes?
Gems classes are individual classes, so you sign up for each one you’d like to take. Some classes are drop-in and others are a series that require you to choose all sessions. Each class listing tells you which.

What if a class is full?
Some classes have a waitlist. If the class you want offers one, you can join it from the class listing. See: How to use the wait list guide.

Where can I see what I’ve registered for?
Log in to your account to see your purchase history and any balance due. See: How to pay your balance and access your purchase history guide.

Everything else (EZFacility)

Do I still use EZFacility?
Yes, for now. Everything that isn’t a Gems class starting November 1 or later stays in EZFacility, including memberships and other programs. More programs will move to Amilia / SmartRec soon.

I’m in a Gems class that started before November 1. Do I need to do anything?
No. Classes that start before November 1 stay in EZFacility, and nothing changes for them.

Cancellations and help

How do I cancel a registration?
If you can’t attend a program, please contact Rachel at rsakofs@phillyjcc.com as soon as possible to cancel. Drop-in classes can be canceled in the portal up to 7 days before the program date. When appropriate, Gems will issue a credit to your JCC account to use toward another program.

Who can I contact for help?
For questions about Gems classes, your account, registration or payments, email Rachel at rsakofs@phillyjcc.com.
