Dr. Matthew R. Kerbel is professor emeritus at Villanova University, where he taught political science for 36 years. He runs a small independent media organization with political activist Chris Bowers that includes the pro democracy substack Wolves and Sheep. His tenth book, titled Democracy on the Edge, was published by the University Press of Kansas in August. Matt is a graduate of the University of Michigan, a former radio news reporter, and television news writer for PBS.
