Shalom Summer, a Concert Honoring Ron and Rachelle Kaiserman

|

Dear Friends,

This past fall we kicked off our 50th year anniversary celebrations with a vibrant, fall festival celebrating the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. We welcomed to our campus over 600 individuals, countless partners, and a spirited sentiment: The Kaiserman JCC had bounced back from pandemic-related challenges and was poised for the next chapter in our history. We presented an inspiring, new strategic vision for the future, and an exciting fundraising campaign to make that dream a reality. This coming May, we will be wrapping up our 50th year anniversary celebrations with a bookend to the fall festival: Shalom Summer, a Concert Honoring Ron and Rachelle Kaiserman.

Join us on Sunday, May 21 as we wrap up our 50th to the Future Campaign and celebrate an incredible year in the history of this agency. Fittingly, we will honor with the occasion Ron and Rachelle Kaiserman. For three generations, the Kaiserman family has sustained the JCC, including Kevy Kaiserman purchasing this property over 50 years ago to create the Kevy K. and Hortense M. Kaiserman branch of the JCCs of Greater Philadelphia. Thanks to the stewardship of this family, and Kevy’s vision, we can celebrate together on our thriving Jewish communal campus in May

In their honor we are presenting the Depue Brothers Band, a family bluegrass band affiliated with the players from the Philadelphia Orchestra. This exciting concert will get you up and dancing, kicking off a summer of activity at the Kaiserman JCC. It will also serve as the culmination of our fundraising campaign, which you can still participate in today. Finally, Shalom Summer will also feature activities for the whole family, including a puppet show from Wonderspark Puppets, and a Kosher BBQ buffet. More details can be found below. We hope the entire community can join us for this special occasion.

Shabbat Shalom,
Alan
