DESCRIPTION:Calling all LMSD Elementary Students! While school is closed on October 31st\, the JCC is open and we are planning a trip to Linvilla Orchards. \nLMSD students in grades K–5 are invited to join us for a day of fall fun at Linvilla Orchards. This exciting trip includes a hayride\, a visit to Pumpkinland\, the apple launch\, and time to explore the orchards’ playful mazes. After we return to the JCC\, we will conclude the day with playground time\, games and activities. Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the Kaiserman JCC (this program includes after-care. Pickup is at the JCC by 6pm.) Please note that lunch is not included\, so children should bring a bag lunch and water bottle for the day. \nMust register by 10/28! DESCRIPTION:Harley’s Paws In The Pool!\nPaws in the pool is back this year\, and due to popular demand we have extended it into a whole week! Before we “paws” our pools for the season\, we invite our canine friends for a day of swimming\, splashing and socializing in our fenced-in outdoor pool and grassy area! Both the toddler pool and heated main pool will be open and there will be a lifeguard on duty. \nWe also encourage all participants to bring a dog item for donation (toy\, food\, towels etc.) to be given to a local shelter. \nTuesday\, 9/2\, Wednesday\, 9/3\, Thursday\, 9/4 and Friday 9/5: 3pm to 7pm\nSaturday\, 9/6 and Sunday\, 9/7: 12pm to 4pm \nRegister below!\n$15/Day or $60/6 Day Membership \n\nRules:\n\nEach dog must have a completed registration form before gaining entry into the event.\nOwner/handler must be at least 18 years of age.\nMaximum 2 Dogs per adult\nAll dogs must be current on their vaccinations.\nAll pets must be spayed or neutered.\nYour dog may be released from their leash upon entering the pool deck area\, following registration. No leashes while in the pool.\nIf there are behavior problems\, your will be asked to leash your dog and or leave. Your dog must remain under your control at all times.\nKnow your dog’s personality. If he/she is acting aggressively\, or overly affectionate\, please calm him/her down before un-leashing. If your dog maintains an aggressive and/or overly affectionate demeanor\, owner and dog will be escorted from the event.\nPlease be sure your dog has been exposed to swimming. Some dogs swim well\, some don’t. If not\, he/she may become afraid or aggressive.\nOwners must appropriately dispose of their dog’s fecal matter in designated areas that are provided. Be courteous to other guests and clean up your dog’s “accidents”.\nPlease help your dog into and out of the pool. Lifeguards will be on hand if you or they need assistance.\nDo not bring dogs that have health conditions that may endanger themselves or others.\nHumans are allowed in pool to assist in getting dog in/out or to play with their dogs. Both the toddler pool and heated main pool will be open and there will be a lifeguard on duty. \nWe also encourage all participants to bring a dog item for donation (toy\, food\, towels etc.) to be given to a local shelter. \nTuesday\, 9/2\, Wednesday\, 9/3\, Thursday\, 9/4 and Friday 9/5: 3pm to 7pm\nSaturday\, 9/6 and Sunday\, 9/7: 12pm to 4pm \nRegister below!\n$15/Day or $60/6 Day Membership \n\nRules:\n\nEach dog must have a completed registration form before gaining entry into the event.\nOwner/handler must be at least 18 years of age.\nMaximum 2 Dogs per adult\nAll dogs must be current on their vaccinations.\nAll pets must be spayed or neutered.\nYour dog may be released from their leash upon entering the pool deck area\, following registration. DESCRIPTION:Harley’s Paws In The Pool!\nPaws in the pool is back this year\, and due to popular demand we have extended it into a whole week! Before we “paws” our pools for the season\, we invite our canine friends for a day of swimming\, splashing and socializing in our fenced-in outdoor pool and grassy area! Both the toddler pool and heated main pool will be open and there will be a lifeguard on duty. \nWe also encourage all participants to bring a dog item for donation (toy\, food\, towels etc.) to be given to a local shelter. \nTuesday\, 9/2\, Wednesday\, 9/3\, Thursday\, 9/4 and Friday 9/5: 3pm to 7pm\nSaturday\, 9/6 and Sunday\, 9/7: 12pm to 4pm \nRegister below!\n$15/Day or $60/6 Day Membership \n\nRules:\n\nEach dog must have a completed registration form before gaining entry into the event.\nOwner/handler must be at least 18 years of age.\nMaximum 2 Dogs per adult\nAll dogs must be current on their vaccinations.\nAll pets must be spayed or neutered.\nYour dog may be released from their leash upon entering the pool deck area\, following registration. DESCRIPTION:Harley’s Paws In The Pool!\nPaws in the pool is back this year\, and due to popular demand we have extended it into a whole week! Before we “paws” our pools for the season\, we invite our canine friends for a day of swimming\, splashing and socializing in our fenced-in outdoor pool and grassy area! He has composed extensively for film\, theater\, and television and collaborated with artists such as Itzhak Perlman\, Robin Williams\, Joel Grey\, Theodore Bikel\, and Robert Brustein.\nGrant Smith – Drums and Percussion \nGrant Smith is involved in world music\, jazz\, classical\, and dance projects in Boston and New York. His theater credits include the American Repertory’s The King Stag and Shlemiel The First\, as well as Joel Grey’s Borscht Capades. He has performed with Itzhak Perlman\, Yo-Yo Ma\, Don Byron\, the Violent Femmes\, Garrison Keillor\, and Jane Wang.\nEden MacAdam-Somer – Violin and Vocalist \nA world-renowned violist\, fiddler\, vocalist\, percussive dancer\, and educator\, Eden MacAdam-Somer is currently Co-Chair of the Contemporary Musical Arts Department at the New England Conservatory. She is also the lead vocalist with the Klezmer Conservatory Band.\nItay Dayan – Clarinet \nIsraeli clarinetist and composer Itay Dayan\, based in Boston\, is considered one of the most promising voices in klezmer music today. Renowned for his virtuosic playing and genre-defying creativity\, he blends klezmer\, jazz\, and classical influences to craft a sound that honors tradition while pushing musical boundaries.\nSusan Hoffman Watts – Trumpet \nSusan Hoffman Watts is the sole living purveyor of her family’s traditional klezmer-style trumpet sounds\, which have electrified audiences for decades. She has recorded\, performed\, and sung with The Klezmatics\, So-Called\, Claire Barry\, Mandy Patinkin\, Dudu Fischer\, Mikveh\, Shtreimel\, The Klez Dispensers\, and has performed with her mother\, the great klezmer drummer Elaine Hoffman Watts\, in their Philadelphia-based group\, the Fabulous Shpielkehs.\nSteve Beskrone – Bass \nAcoustic/electric bassist Steve Beskrone is known for his versatility\, which has led him to work in a variety of professional and creative settings. He has recorded and performed with many legendary artists\, contributing to a wide range of musical genres.\nDan Blacksberg – Trombone \nDan Blacksberg is a master of klezmer trombone\, known for his ability to push the boundaries of tradition through performance\, composition\, and improvisation.
