CHALUTZIM
8th-10th Grade

Our oldest campers, 8th through 10th grade, explore all the challenges and fun of day camp. At this developmental stage, we recognize that they need and want independence and responsibility, but that they are still kids, so we created a program that allows them to have it all in one place. Chalutzim campers begin their day in our Majors Program. Majors are camper-selected weekly sport, art, and special interest options taught by local artists and coaches, that campers get for a double period for a truly immersive experience.  Afterwards, they will assist a bunk of younger children, guided by the bunk counselors. The rest of the day consists of traditional day camp activities and a brand-new leadership program featuring hands-on learning experiences to help develop 21st century, leadership skills.
