SUMMARY:Yom Ha’Atzmaut | Poetry Reading with Adi Keissar\, Israeli Poet\, and Israeli Style Dinner
DESCRIPTION:This program is part of our week-long celebration of Israel’s 76th Year of Independence. Learn about all of the programs we’re offering here.  \nJoin us for an enriching evening as we delve into the poetic world of Adi Keissar\, an Israeli poet whose words resonate across languages and cultures. Adi\, of Yeminite descent\, has not only crafted powerful verses but also ignited a cultural movement through her project\, Ars Poetica. Adi will share her evocative poetry in both Hebrew and English. Her verses traverse landscapes of memory\, loss\, and resilience\, inviting us to contemplate the human experience in times of turmoil. As the sun sets\, we’ll gather for an authentic Israeli-style dinner. Let the flavors of the Middle East transport you as we continue our exploration of culture\, identity\, and shared humanity. \n\n\n \n \n Honoring Israel’s 76th Year of Independence: Programming throughout May at the Kaiserman JCC\n Please fill out one form per family. \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Phone(Required)Email(Required)\n \n How did you hear about this event?(Required)How did you hear about this event?Word of mouthGems newsletterJCC newsletterInternet searchSynagogueOtherHow did you hear about this event - other?(Required)Yom Ha’Atzmaut | Poetry Reading with Adi Keissar\, Israeli Poet\, and Israeli Style Dinner\n \n Tuesday\, May 14 from 6-8pm - $10\n Adi Keissar\, leading Israeli poet\, and founder of the cultural group Ars Poetica\, will read from her poetry in Hebrew and English and will discuss the cultural response for the current situation.
