DESCRIPTION:The first part of this class will wrap up our exploration of Petra and its environs\, with time for discussion and questions. Then\, Dr. Steve takes us behind the scenes on another archaeological dig he worked on in Jordan – an adventure deep in the desert at a rock shelter named\, Tor Faraj. Evidence of Neanderthal occupation dated to some 60\,000 years ago was uncovered.
