DESCRIPTION:Understanding and Challenging Antisemitism\, Anti-Zionism and Anti-Israel Bias\nThis interactive presentation will examine the history of antisemitism\, persistent antisemitic myths\, tropes and stereotypes\, and where we are today\, in terms of both the current landscape and the impact of rising antisemitism\, anti-Zionism and anti-Israel bias on Jewish people and the Jewish community in the United States. There will be opportunities to share experiences and concerns as well as to discuss strategies to challenge this “Oldest Hatred”. \nClick here to register for Brunch Lecture!\nRandi Boyette has been with the Philadelphia office of the ADL since 2003 and is currently a Senior Associate Regional Director. She has focused her work at ADL on anti-bias and antisemitism education\, community-building across differences\, and Holocaust and Genocide education.\nBefore coming to ADL\, Randi spent 11 years working at the JCCs Klein Branch\, responsible for public relations\, preschool music and running their summer camp.\nBorn\, raised\, and educated in Philadelphia\, Randi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Temple University and a Master of Arts degree in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from Gratz College. She is the co-author of Let it Burn\, a book about MOVE and the city of Philadelphia.
