Shana Tova! Here at the Kaiserman JCC we are wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year. With the holiday of Rosh Hashanah marking the turning of the Jewish calendar, we are celebrating in the spirit of the occasion: Hiring new staff, and introducing new programs!
Much more is to come in the subsequent weeks, but for now we wanted to showcase two of our newest staff members at the J – Evin Rezavker and Jamie Feinstein.
- Evin joined us last month as our Director of Curriculum, Development and Retention. She will be working in a number of capacities, with a focus on supporting staff in our early childhood and youth programs, including the Robert J. Wilf Preschool and Camp Kef. We are very grateful to the Foundation for Jewish Camp who helped to catalyze Evin’s role, a significant portion of which will be not only engaging and recruiting the best staff in the area for our programs, but also supporting, developing, and retaining them for many years to come. We are thrilled to have Evin on our team, and her years of experience as a teacher, and educational coach.
- Jamie joined our team this month as our Director of Health and Wellness. She will be working to expand and enhance our fitness and wellness offerings, in particular a new grant-funded initiative from the Bernard and Etta Weinberg Fund called Chapter Three: Living Well at the J. Look out for more information about that program coming next month! We are grateful to the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia for their support, and thrilled about Jamie’s inclusion on our staff. Jamie brings with her years of experience as a physical therapist in inpatient hospital and rehabilitation settings, and will strive in her role to build a comprehensive and inclusive program where all people can come together to meet their personal goals, feel welcome, and connected to a community.
What’s exciting and new for you in the Jewish year of 5783? We can’t wait to hear about it next time you visit.
