AARP Driver Safety Course   

Association for Adults with Developmental Disabilities, Inc.

Adults with Developmental Disabilities, affectionately known as “ADD,” is a not-for-profit organization that helps intellectually disabled adults (18 and older) cultivate the skills needed for independence and self-reliance. Today ADD serves over 170 members who attend weekly education and discussion sessions and weekend social activities such as sporting events, theatre shows, organization-hosted dances, and an annual summer cruise. ADD helps adults with intellectual disabilities develop life long friendships, productive careers, and an unwavering commitment to self-reliance and personal responsibility.

TIKVAH/AJMI     

Advocates for the Jewish Mentally Ill

The Tikvah/AJMI program provides support and advocacy for individuals and families who are affected by mental illness by building a sense of community through socialization events and celebrating Jewish holidays. The organization improves the quality of life for persons with mental illness by providing psychosocial rehabilitation via social experiences and life skills education; long-term housing; and some transitional employment opportunities. This group meets twice a year at the JCC and speical events.

Chabad of Penn Wynne   

Chabad of Penn Wynne brings the community together with a number of programs. From recreational events, like Challah making, educational programs from the Jewish Learning Institute, and High Holiday services which bring the community together to celebrate the Jewish holidays, Chabad of Penn Wynne helps align members of the community with the Jewish faith in a friendly atmosphere that will exceed your expectations every time.
