This senior satellite for cultural, educational and social programming is designed for elderly Russian-speaking people ages 60 and up.

Here you can explore new things and extend your knowledge about various aspects of human life and activities, as well as learn new skills. You can benefit from socializing, enriching your relationships with friendly and hospitable people, and get moral support from the staff and your new friends. You can get a taste of Jewish history, customs and traditions. And, best of all, you can take part in exciting musical and literary programs, concerts and meetings with interesting people!

Transportation is provided in case of need. We are open Monday through Friday from 9am-2pm.

Tabas House
For over 21 years, the JCCs Satellite Senior Center at the Tabas House has been providing high quality services for seniors i the Northeast Philadelphia area. Throughout the program's history thousands of seniors have come to our center to be connected to the community. While here, they have made lasting friendships, important connections contributing to their social, mental and physical health and well-being. Each day, seniors attend daily calsses and a hot lunch program, spending precious hours at our satellite center, their home away from home.

  • The Tabas House is located at 2101 Strable Street
  • Anyone 60 years of age or older is invited to attend.
  • Hours are 10am-2pm, Tuesday through Friday
  • A hot Kosher lunch is served daily ($1 contribution is suggested)
  • Each day the satellite has programs that promote education, socialization and recreation.
  • Every Thursday varied musical programs are presented, highlighting borthdays and holidays.

Germantown Jewish Centre
For over 20 years, the JCCs Satellite Senior Center at the Germantwon Jewish Centre has been providing high quality services for seniors in the Northwest Philadelphia area. Throughout the program's history hundreds of seniors have come to our center to be connected to the community. While here, they have made lasting friendships and important connections contributing to their social, mental and physical health and well-being.

  • The Germantown Jewish Centre is located at 400 West Ellet Street
  • Anyone 60 years of age or older is invited to attend
  • Hours are 10am-2pm, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
  • A hot Kosher lunch is served daily ($1 contribution is suggested)
  • Each day the satellite has programs that promote education, socialization and recreation
  • Every Thursday caried musical programs are presented, highlighting birthdays and holidays
