The JCCs Jacob and Esther Stiffel Senior Center provides a social center for vital adults in South Philadelphia who seek programs and friendships that exercise their minds, bodies and spirits. The Stiffel Senior Center also serves the elderly who want to live independently. Broad-ranging activities are offered to Jewish and non-Jewish members of the community.
Services:
Through the Adult Services program, you will have access to the JCCs’ wide array of programs including:
Daily hot kosher lunch
Fitness and wellness classes
Life Long Learning classes
Social activities
Computer classes
Trips
Special interest and social clubs
Health screenings & education
Counseling
Information and referral
Volunteer opportunities
Peer support groups
Cultural programs
Home delivered meals (when needed)
In-home support services (when needed)
Thanks to funding from the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging and other supporters, many of the programs and services offered through the Adult Services Program are free or require a nominal fee.
