Spring Break Life Guard Training
Saturday, April 13 through Tuesday, April 16
Learn how to effectively prevent and respond to water emergencies with the American Red Cross lifeguard training. Our courses are designed to arm you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a variety of scenarios in and around the water. With our lifeguard training, you will learn how quick response times and effective preparation are vital to being a lifeguard while also understanding the crucial elements in helping to prevent drownings and injuries.

Monday, April 15 | 12pm-3pm
Tuesday, April 16 | 12pm-3pm
Attendance is mandatory for all classes. THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UP CLASSES!
You spend time each day in the pool, please dress accordingly.
This course is pass or fail, there are no refunds.
• Students must be at least 15 years old by the last day of class.
• Students must pass a pre-course swimming skills test prior to taking life guarding course, the prerequisites are:
300 yard swim using freestyle, breaststroke, or a combination of both; tread water for 2 minutes using only legs; swim 20 yards, surface dive to the bottom of 10 feet, retrieve a 10 pound brick and swim back to starting point within a minute and 40 seconds.
