Youth Sports


Get your child up and away from the television.  kaiserman JCC classes are the perfect fix for the couch potato kid.  Learn to play the sports from the basics...basketball, soccer and t-ball.  All classes are taught by certified Physical Education teacher, Lori Hummel. Lori has over 23 years of experience in teaching children the basics of sports. Lori’s fun and caring personality makes her classes the perfect start to an athletic career.

Little Big Shots
This is a parent assisted class for 3 year olds. It covers basic ball skills with games, balance, jumping, and spatial awareness skills. Parents must be active participants.

 Kinder-Sports
(Kindergarten, Limit 16.)
In this course youngsters, kindergarten students, are introduced to the fundamentals, skills and rules of the game in a fun setting.Fee includes a t-shirt.

Short Sports
(Age 4. Limit 12) In this course youngsters are introduced to basic skills and rules in an enjoyable, structured environment. Classes are small and participants receive a t-shirt!

 First Grade Sports
(1st Grade, Limit 16.)
In this course first grade students will learn skill development and fundamentals in a non-competetive environment. The class is fun and challenging and teaches individual and team skills. Fee includes a t-shirt.

 (Grades 3 - 6) Designed to teach kids the importance of working out, staying fit, and being healthy, the YouthFit program consists of sport specific activities, use of cardio equipment, and beginner weight training. Kids are taught through positive reinforcement and an exciting learning platform. Class instructor is Melissa Johnson, a seasoned coach and personal trainer. Sunday Kindergym!

(Ages 2 - 5) When it’s too cold outside, join us in our main gym. The Kindergym set up includes mini basketball, soccer, obstacle course, mats & more. The Kindergym is appropriate for children ages 2 - 5. Parents are required to supervise their children at all times.

Sundays, December 5 - March 6, 11:30am-1pm: FREE!!! 

 

Teen Time in the Fitness Room

All teens must make an appointment for an orientation before using equipment. Orientations will be geared toward personal goals. Teens must adhere to fitness room policies and procedures. NO free weights can be used. Call x 114 for more information.
