We wanted to make you aware that we are currently investigating a COVID-19 outbreak at our summer camp, Camp Kef. We have been working closely with the Montgomery County Office of Public Health as well as a medical advisory group and made the proactive decision to pause our camp for the entirety of this week out of an abundance of caution. Anyone impacted by the outbreak has already been directly contacted and will receive further information from their local health department.
We are reopening camp on Monday, August 2, with enhanced COVID-19 protocols in place, reviewed by our medical advisory group, as well as the Montgomery County Office of Public Health. Other programming at the J, including basketball, and our swim program have not been impacted, and are open and available to you.
We strongly encourage all members, families and individuals of our community to use all preventative measures available to stop the spread of COVID-19, and invite you to visit the following link for more information: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html
Thank you for your support as we navigate the continued effects of the pandemic.
