Central

For 132 years, the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Philadelphia has been a communal asset dedicated to ensuring the continuity, strength and vibrancy of the Jewish community of Greater Philadelphia. We do this through quality programming and environments that provide opportunities to learn, volunteer, participate, socialize and advocate for communal needs.

The JCCs provides programs and services to over 60,000 members and program participants each year through its full-service facilities, arts and culture center, senior centers and regional programs located throughout Southeastern PA.

Our mission is to perpetuate and celebrate Jewish life, benefiting the communities we serve. The JCCs inspires Jewish journeys for our members and program participants through our:

  • Preschool, kindergarten & after-school programs
  • Summer day camps
  • Health & wellness facilities
  • Programs for children with special needs
  • Hot lunch & home healthcare programs for the frail elderly
  • Adult education classes & events
  • Acculturation services for New Americans
  • Gallery exhibits & special performance in music, dance & theater
  • Community events including Jewish Book Festival & Jewish & Israeli Film Festivals
  • Special teen, young adult & singles activities including The Collaborative, Community Youth Initiative & JCC Maccabi Games®
